Contributed by Bill Rufty - Posted: October 17, 2008 6:16:11 PM There has been a lot of ink and Internet time devoted to "Joe The Plumber," who the Republican presidential campaign team has adopted as their battle cry signifying what they say is their concern for the "little guy." But Art The Plumber is supporting a Democrat, at least in a competitive race for state senator in Senate District 17, which includes the southern half of Polk and neighboring counties.
